Unapologetic progressive. Fearless activist. Plucky liberal.

Kaili Joy Gray writes about women’s issues, among other things, for Daily Kos. She has an analysis of the recent election, The Year of the Woman that Wasn’t. She points out the need for Democrats to realize what an important voting bloc women are and keep their promises to us, not just in election season but throughout their entire terms.  If you think about it, we’re not really going to achieve a “Year of the Woman” until women have equal representation in Congress. That day is a lot further away than I like to think about. So encourage every single woman you know to vote, and get involved in the 2012 Project so women can regain their seats in the next election. Check them out on Facebook and show your support.
