Go Away, Sarah Palin

Tom Chapin is one of my all-time favorite singers. I loved his children’s songs growing up, and they still resonate as an adult. I’ve seen him in concert a few times and he always does a good show. Most of his kids’ songs aren’t overly political, although he does sing a lot about the environment (“Happy Earth Day,” “Someone’s Gonna Use It,” “Good Garbage,” “Mother Earth’s Routine,” “R-E-C-Y-C-L-E,” “Clean Machine”). If you have young kids and are looking for music you can enjoy as a family, definitely check Tom out. Read more about him at Tom Chapin’s official website or listen to song samples on Amazon.

  1. a long time favorite! I remember taking you and Chuckie when you were kids to see him at the Children’s museum in Indy. Now Cate loves to listen to him.

    • Thanks for introducing me to him! I don’t have any of his albums on CD yet, but they’re on my wish list.
